The Isle of Wight loves its watersports and East Cowes Sailing Club are recognising our maritime heritage with a fun day on the water. Dinghy racing, paddleboards and canoeing will be on offer at the club as part of the Wight Games Festival.

About the event
The Isle of Wight loves its watersports and East Cowes Sailing Club are recognising our maritime heritage with a fun day on the water. Dinghy racing, paddleboards and canoeing will be on offer at the club as part of the Wight Games Festival.
Sailing will be organised by the ECSC for the elite sailors in a regatta series of up to three races per day, making a six-race regatta series over the weekend for both single-handed and double-handed classes.
Canoeing will be from the beach and to designated marker buoys dotted around logically off the Shrape. Plans are for three races per day, making a six-race regatta over the weekend.
Paddleboarding will be over a short course to two markers along the Shrape and return. Start off the beach. Individual race prizes and an overall score.
