Traditional Sports Day

Egg-and spoon, bean bag tossing and all the traditional events that made up your school sports day are being revived as part of the Wight Games Festival.

In the picturesque surroundings of Quarr Abbey near Fishbourne, there will be a full day of races, guessing games, such as ‘how many sweets in the jar’ and other traditional games, suitable for all members of the family.

Simply turn up and you can be guaranteed a good, old-fashioned day of fun.
